Win full truckload shippers, cover their loads with carriers you have vetted, and see each load through to proof of delivery. Base salary plus commission.
The role
What you would do.
- Win and grow full truckload shippers on Canadian lanes
- Quote and book loads with vetted carriers, and issue the rate confirmation
- Check every carrier before it moves a load: operating authority, insurance and safety record
- Track each load to delivery, handle the exceptions and close the file with proof of delivery
- Price long lanes by intermodal on CN and CPKC against a truckload
- Full trailers only: we do not book LTL or partial loads

Requirements
What you need.
- Two or more years of truckload brokerage in Canada
- Carrier sourcing on the load boards, and the habit of vetting before you tender
- At home with rate confirmations, carrier packets and a TMS
- Entitled to work in Canada
An asset, not a requirement
- Your own shipper relationships
- French
Hours and place
Where the desk sits.
Vaughan, Ontario, some days in the office and some remote, set with your manager. Business hours Monday to Friday, with the odd load that needs you outside them. Base salary plus commission; the numbers are covered on the first call.
