Speak with our teamWhen does air freight make more sense than ocean?
Air freight is the right call when the cargo is time-sensitive, high-value, or perishable and the ocean transit is simply too slow. The trade-off is cost: air moves in days where ocean takes weeks, so you pay a premium for speed. We help you weigh the two and book the one that fits the shipment. Do you offer charter air freight?
Yes. Alongside standard and express air, we arrange expedited and full charter on request when a shipment cannot wait for scheduled capacity or needs dedicated lift. Send us the weight, dimensions, and deadline and we will quote the option that lands it on time.
Can you handle airport-to-airport and door-to-door?
Both. We book airport-to-airport when you handle the ends yourself, or full door-to-door with pickup and final delivery arranged at each end. In the Greater Toronto Area, vetted partner carriers recover the freight from the Pearson cargo terminals and handle pickup and delivery across the GTA. Setara Transport, our group’s carrier, runs the move only when the shipment is a full truckload. Beyond the GTA, our vetted carrier network covers pickup and delivery. It is one booking and one invoice either way, with the customs entry coordinated so the shipment is not held at arrival.
Who clears customs on an air shipment?
Customs at destination is coordinated through our licensed customs broker partner, worked alongside the air booking so clearance is ready when the cargo lands. We do not file entries in-house; the broker holds the licence and files with CBSA or CBP. See customs coordination for how that works.
Can you carry temperature-sensitive or high-value cargo by air?
Yes. Air freight suits high-value and temperature-sensitive goods, and we arrange handling for both. Tell us the commodity, the temperature range, and any special requirements when you request a quote so we book the right capacity and handling.
