Setara · Logistics and transport across Canada.
Coverage & equipment

Every mode, across Canada and the US.

Setara is a full-service carrier moving freight in every mode across Canada and the United States. We run our own trucks on core lanes for dry van, container drayage, and cross-border, and we lean on a vetted carrier network for the broad geographic reach and the specialized equipment. One point of contact, one invoice, capacity wherever your freight needs to go.

All modes, one point of contact, one invoice. You get the reach, and you still know exactly who to call.

What we move

Every mode, one point of contact.

One container off the terminal, a full truckload across the border, or oversize freight that needs special handling.

Container drayage

We pull containers from the GTA's CN Brampton and CPKC Vaughan rail ramps, on your chassis or ours, and run them to destinations across Ontario, with appointments and street-turns handled. See our GTA container drayage and intermodal service.

Intermodal truck legs

Rail covers the long haul, our trucks handle the first and last legs. Lower cost and lower emissions than running it all by road.

Dry van & FTL

Full truckloads and full containers, domestic and cross-border, on consistent owned equipment.

LTL & partials

Less-than-truckload and partial loads, consolidated onto the route that fits.

Cross-border

Canada-US runs both directions with FAST / trusted-trader crossings. Customs handled through our broker partner.

Flatbed, oversize & reefer

Open-deck and temperature-controlled freight, plus surge volume, covered under one point of contact.

Equipment

The right trailing equipment for the move.

We run our own tractors, trailers, and chassis on our core Ontario lanes, and we supply chassis, trailers, and containers to our power-only owner-operators. For broad reach and specialized equipment, we scale through a vetted carrier network.

Container and chassis interchange at the rail ramps runs under our UIIA registration and the standard intermodal interchange agreements, so the moves clear cleanly.

Need flatbed, oversize, reefer, or other specialized gear? We source it through our carrier network, on the same point of contact and the same invoice.

On the road

  • Day-cab and highway tractors
  • Container chassis for drayage
  • Dry van trailers for FTL and LTL
  • Flatbed, oversize, and reefer
Coverage questions

Common questions on lanes and capacity.

What regions and lanes do you serve?
National and broad. Origins and destinations across Canada and the United States, plus cross-border lanes both directions on FAST trusted-trader crossings. We run our own trucks on core lanes and the carrier network fills in the reach beyond them.
Which modes do you cover?
Container drayage, intermodal truck legs, dry van and FTL, LTL and partials, and cross-border. Flatbed, oversize, and reefer are sourced through the carrier network, all under one point of contact and one invoice.
How does capacity scale through the carrier network?
We carry the core dry van, drayage, and cross-border lanes on our own equipment, and we tender the broader geographic reach, specialized equipment, and surge volume to a vetted carrier network. You get the reach without the cost of a national fleet, and you still know exactly who to call.
Do you handle cross-border freight?
Yes. Canada-US runs both directions with FAST trusted-trader crossings, including at Lacolle and Windsor-Detroit. Customs is handled through a licensed broker partner.
Can you cover container drayage in the GTA?
Yes. We pull containers from the GTA's CN Brampton and CPKC Vaughan rail ramps, on your chassis or ours, and deliver them across Ontario, with appointments and street-turns handled.
